WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service and the legal profession in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom are unable to comply with the legal obligation to litigate digitally in cases handled by the Supreme Court.
That obligation came into effect this month, but the Public Prosecution Service and lawyers in the Caribbean are insufficiently equipped to comply with it. Because it can take quite some time before they are up to date, an exception option has been included in the procedural regulations for the benefit of the islands.
