WILLEMSTAD - If Curaçao receives the third tranche of emergency support, it will probably amount to 105 million guilders. The Committee for Financial Supervision (Cft) advised this to the Kingdom Council of Ministers in The Hague.
The Cft recommends that the financial support be disbursed in 2 installments: 50 million once for July and August and then the rest for September. Because Curaçao has not yet met the conditions of the 2nd tranche, no decision has yet been made about the funds. This will be discussed on Wednesday.
It is currently not entirely clear what role the conditions for this third tranche still play.
