WILLEMSTAD - A special investigation team closed three illegal dental practices yesterday. In Berg Altena, a Venezuelan pretended to be a dentist, he was also caught doing this last year. The man has been handed over to the Immigration Service because he is also illegally staying on the island.
In Santa Maria it was a Colombian who did not have the correct papers to be allowed to perform his job. The same also applied to the Venezuelan with a practice on Perseusweg. The practices have been closed and the men have been arrested. Justice and the Inspectorate of Health will look further into the matter.
The special investigation team consists of inspectors from the SVB, the police, SOAW and the Stichting Belastingaccountantsbureau.
