WILLEMSTAD - T’Kayley Polonius won the Tumba Hubenil 2024 with the song 'Ban kuashi rib’e ruta,' let's paint the route together. This took place during a vibrant festival last Saturday night at the Curaçao Festival Center, where twelve young talents competed for the title, each with their impressive performance.

The Tumba Hubenil orchestra deserves special mention for their fantastic performance. The young musicians collaborated with experienced colleagues to accompany the participants in an excellent manner.
The festival presented a series of excellent Tumbas, achieving success again this year for the Boldstarz organization.
Awards Ceremony
In addition to T’Kayley Polonius's victory, there were more prizes to be awarded. Tiarah Giterson received the encouragement award; Luichayden Jansen won awards for discipline, popularity, best performance, and best lyrics.
The award for the best voice went to the winner T’Kayley Polonius, while Hershel Rosario and Ravello Antoin delivered the best arrangement. Aaliyah Lourens was named the best singer.
The awards for the most original Tumba and best lyrics also went to Luichayden Jansen. Aaliyah Lourens became the 3rd finalist, followed by Luichayden Jansen as the 2nd finalist and Jean Max Rondei as the 1st finalist.
Furgell Wijngaarden was praised as the composer, and Rudsel ‘Boeis’ Comenencia as the arranger.
