WILLEMSTAD - The five civil servants' unions ABVO, Sitek, SAP, NAPB and STrAF have continued their signature campaign today. Members of the various unions can sign the petition at the ABVO building in Brievengat today.
The unions want to use the action to pressure the government to withdraw the 12.5% cut on the fringe benefits of the civil servants.
The unions started the signature campaign at the end of last week. People could also sign the list during the weekend. According to the chairman of the ABVO union Adrie Williams, they are still making the list available to collect as many signatures as possible. These will eventually be handed over to the court.
