WILLEMSTAD - In the evenings of Friday evening August 13 until the night of Saturday August 14, the 'Special Affairs Unit', together with the investigation team, checked 18 vehicles, imposed 2 fines and issued 8 warnings. The police reported this in a press release.
Two people have been charged with violating the curfew rules (Toke de Keda). This involved a violation of the mandatory closing time and a violation of being on the street after the curfew went into effect.
The police indicate that the checks will continue and that violations are not taken lightly.
