Local | By Correspondent October 20, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - Epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth wants to reopen the borders with Aruba starting this Friday. He announced this today during a briefing about the current COVID-19 situation.

Dr. Gerstenbluth has consulted with his colleagues in Aruba and it has emerged that the risk of spreading the corona virus in Curaçao and Aruba is approximately the same. That is why he wants to reopen all the borders with Aruba starting this Friday without the requirement that a PCR test is taken before departure.
