WILLEMSTAD - The COVID-19 restrictions on Curaçao nightlife will be analyzed by the government next Tuesday. Prime Minister Pisas declared this during today’s press conference. According to the Prime Minister, there are many people who do not follow the rules as they are supposed to. There are even illegal parties organized where people dance and do not adhere to social distancing. The Prime Minister emphasizes again that this is illegal.
Currently, no parties are allowed to be organized. A maximum of 100 people are allowed to gather in a place big enough so they can adhere to the social distancing.
Last week there was a meeting between the government and the entertainment sector. The entertainment sector was disappointed with the course of that meeting, which they say made little progress.
