SCHIPHOL – Airline TUI has cancelled all flights to Curaçao, Aruba, and Bonaire scheduled for today. With this decision, TUI follows earlier actions taken by KLM and Corendon, which also suspended flights to the Dutch Caribbean earlier in the day.
According to TUI, the cancellations are the result of restrictions imposed on the local airspace. As a result, all three TUI fly services planned for Saturday, January 3, have been called off.
The airline said it is closely monitoring developments and will decide later whether flights scheduled for Sunday will operate, depending on how the airspace situation evolves.
Passengers currently on vacation in Curaçao who are unable to return today will be accommodated locally. TUI stated that the situation on the island remains calm.
The airline emphasized that the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority and that operations will only resume once conditions are deemed safe.
