Funds were generated for Curaçao Lions Club charitable projects

WILLEMSTAD - In their efforts to generate funds so that they can continue to help our community, the Curaçao Lions Club has organized and presented two shows titled “Shall we go again” featuring the stand-up comedian Roue Verveer. Both shows took place in the beautiful country house of Curaçao Lions Club in Klein Kwartier

Both shows were completely sold out. People have enjoyed and laughed at Verveer's best jokes. For example, CLC has been able to raise funds to continue to help the community while providing people with unforgettable moments. The actor said he is very happy with Curaçao and that Curaçao will soon be more than a country where he only performs. Curaçao becomes a second home for him.

CLC operates in several arenas with the goal of helping our community. For example, they recently inaugurated the inclusive Huntu playground at the Children's Museum. This is the only inclusive playground on Curacao and in the region where all children can really play together, with the emphasis on together where children with disabilities can play with other children. The CLC is also active in the 'Duna mucha un man' foundation, which is responsible for providing a good breakfast for underprivileged children at a number of local schools. Another major project of CLC is 'Bon Bisiña' where food parcels are made for the less fortunate families. We thank the community for supporting the CLC so that we can continue to help those in need.
