WILLEMSTAD - Two Haitians were arrested on Sunday at Hato airport for forging passports. This is according to a police report. It concerns two men, aged 44 and 37 traveling from Haiti.
The Haitians were allowed on their flight to Curaçao with the forged passports, but they were arrested by the Immigration Department of the airport. When employees found out that the passports were fake, the police were called immediately.
The men are currently in custody pending further investigation.
