WILLEMSTAD - The Rif area has two new roads. There are several construction projects going on in the area, such as the hospital and a new hotel. As a result, the construction of two new roads was necessary.
Former Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Zita Jesus-Leito was officially requested to open the roads for public use. Jesus-Leito, as minister, ensured that the project was started. She cut the ribbon with Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas.
These are the roads that connect the second mega pier with the roundabout of the Hamelberg road. Construction of those roads started in 2019.
