WILLEMSTAD - There were two serious traffic accidents on the Weg naar Westpunt on Sunday night and Monday morning. One of the accidents resulted in a fatality.

On Monday morning, a car with two occupants drove into a lottery office along the road at high speed. The accident happened near Krakeel. One of the occupants did not survive the accident. The other occupant was transported to the CMC hospital.
Sunday night there was a head-on collision at the exit to Willibrordus, in which one of the cars caught fire. The other car also caught fire, but bystanders managed to free both drivers from their car in time. Both were rushed to the hospital.
