WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Police Force has announced the arrest of two men in connection with a shooting that took place on Cubaweg on November 16 last year.
The first suspect, a 29-year-old man, was arrested early Friday morning around 5:00 a.m. near a nightclub on Cubaweg. A second suspect, a 20-year-old man, was taken into custody on Saturday evening shortly after 10:00 p.m. at Kaya Tor van der Linde. Both suspects were born on Curaçao.
According to the Curaçao Police Force, the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting incident. The two men are currently being held in custody while detectives continue their inquiries.
Police have not released further details about the circumstances of the shooting or the possible motive and have indicated that the investigation remains ongoing.
