WILLEMSTAD - Representatives of UniOil Corporation have expressed their interest in the acquisition of the Curaçao oil refinery. In a press release, the subsidiary of Santa Fe Global in Curaçao is pleased with a possible relaunch of Refineria di Korsou (RdK).
According to UniOil, a responsible working method is of paramount importance. “We are committed to bringing you the cleanest, most advanced, world-class fuels.” The company buys, sells, certifies and brokers shares related to petroleum and oil products. In addition, UniOil operates gasoline and service stations outside the Dutch Caribbean.
UniOil previously showed interest to RdK and is pleased with the government's announcement that there is no longer any exclusivity for one party. The company says it has international experience and is keen to show that a different approach to the energy and refining sector on the island is possible.
