Unlicensed Online Casino Roawex.com Flagged as High Risk, Falsely Claims Curaçao License

WILLEMSTAD – An investigation into online gambling platforms has identified Roawex.com Casino as an unsafe and high-risk website for players, citing the absence of a valid gambling license and misleading claims about regulatory oversight. The platform is being flagged as one that players are strongly advised to avoid.

According to findings from ongoing monitoring of scam and non-compliant casinos, Roawex.com operates without authorization from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, despite claims on its website suggesting otherwise. The casino also falsely states that it is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, a claim that is not supported by official records.

Investigators report that Roawex.com presents conflicting and inconsistent information regarding its licensing status and operational structure. The website lists multiple operators and license numbers that do not correspond with any valid or verifiable gambling licenses, raising serious concerns about transparency and legitimacy.

Further investigation revealed that the platform allegedly offers counterfeit versions of games that mimic those of well-known and legitimate software providers. This practice not only violates intellectual property rights but also exposes players to unfair gaming conditions, including manipulated outcomes.

The website’s footer states that Roawex.com is owned and operated by InterStorm N.V., registered under number 137453 at an address on Santa Rosaweg in Willemstad, Curaçao. It also names a separate payment agent, Medium Rare Limited, registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. However, no evidence has been found that InterStorm N.V. holds a valid Curaçao gambling license, nor that the platform is authorized to offer online gaming services under Curaçao law.

Consumer protection experts warn that depositing money on unlicensed platforms such as Roawex.com poses a significant financial risk. Players may have no legal recourse in the event of disputes, withheld winnings, or account closures.

The case underscores the importance for players to verify the licensing status of online casinos directly through official regulators and to be cautious of platforms that misuse Curaçao’s name or regulatory framework to create a false sense of legitimacy. Authorities continue to urge the public to remain vigilant as fraudulent gambling websites increasingly target international players while claiming links to Curaçao.
