Unvaccinated police officers are not part of inspection teams

Local | By Correspondent December 30, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - The police corps find it no problem if officers are not vaccinated. Colleagues who cannot or do not want to demonstrate that they have been vaccinated do not carry out COVID-19 checks, but are replaced by vaccinated colleagues.

That is according to the chief of police in a reaction to media questions. The chief debunks rumors of an understaffed team by vaccine rejecters and sick cops. There are about 500 agents on duty and the situation does not cause capacity problems.
