2nd heart sculpture added to celebrate Valentines
WILLEMSTAD - As part of the ongoing beautifications of Punda and to celebrate our local artist community, merchants of Punda once more have commissioned a 2nd heart sculpture by Carlos Blaaker.
The first Punda Love Heart sculpture was unveiled on February 09th, 2017 and became one of the biggest tourist attractions of Curaçao.
The sculpture is made of metal mesh and is called “Lock your love”. The sculpture is designed for lovers to come and clip a padlock to the sculpture to seal their loving bond.
The sculptures will be located at Handelskade and the official unveiling of the sculpture will occur at 7:30pm during the Punda Vibes Valentines Celebration on Thursday February 13th, 2020. Bring as padlock, your loved one and join in this loving celebration.
