WILLEMSTAD - The lottery owners on the island will continue without a bank. Last year they were told that MCB Bank will end the banking relationship with them in the context of "de-risking".
A delay has been granted several times in recent months. Allegedly November 30 is the deadline for closing the bank accounts.
According to Robbie’s Lottery, 120 jobs are at stake in Curaçao and another 70 in Sint Maarten. The number of jobs at other lottery offices is unknown.
