WILLEMSTAD - More than 600 pensioners will be compensated retroactively by the Social Insurance Bank (SVB). But not everyone qualifies for this. This is according to the director of the SVB Philip Martis.
In 2017, the SVB applied a 10% cut to the pension of people who no longer live in Curaçao. That was later reversed by the court. That is why all Curaçao pensioners living on Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba will receive a full refund of the applied cut.
