Local | By Correspondent May 26, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - More than 85,000 people have now registered for vaccination in Curaçao. That is almost 70 percent of the adult population. More than 83,000 people have received their first dose, more than 63,000 people have already had both vaccinations. In total, almost 147,000 injections have been taken. The vaccination target for 85 percent of the population will not be achieved until 106,000 adults are vaccinated.

The government hopes to increase the number of registrations even further by means of the Bus di Bakuna (vaccine bus). Tomorrow the vaccination bus will be in the Suffisant and Boca Sami area. The bus can be found in Brievengat on Saturday and in Santa Helena on Sunday.
