WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao police today arrested 21-year-old Alexander Deonicio. He is suspected of shooting a 19-year-old man on September 16 who was sitting in a car with his girlfriend at a snack bar on the Kaya Augusto Boelijn in Brievengat. After the shooting, the girlfriend drove with the wounded to an apartment complex in Cas Cora. Once there, the man turned out to have already died.
Recently, the police distributed the portraits of three men who are suspected of murder. In addition to the now arrested Alexander Deonicio, it concerns the 21-year-old Xiomar Winklaar who committed a murder in the Kaya Neblina in Seru Papaya at the beginning of this year. The 35-year-old Jermaine Sintjacoba is also being searched for, who is suspected of a murder that took place on May 22, 2020 in Veeris. The police gave them 2 x 24 hours to report.
