WILLEMSTAD - In order not to jeopardize the safety of the public, the Curacao Civil Aviation Authority urgently requests that drone users do not fly with drones in the Parasasa area, especially above the World Trade Center and Clarion Hotel buildings and certainly not above the area where the artists perform during the activities of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz 2019, on 29, 30 and 31 August 2019.
The request is not to fly during the aforementioned festival.
The reason for this is to be able to guarantee the safety of all visitors given that there are many well-known artists who will perform. A drone can experience a disturbance and can therefore crash into the public. Due to the high expected attendance during these activities, there is a danger that if a drone crashes for some reason, damage can be caused to people and equipment.
All this is to guarantee safety during the big event of Curaçao North Sea Jazz 2019.
