WILLEMSTAD - The cruise ships that are now anchored will remain moored in the port of Willemstad at least this month.
America has renewed its no sail order on cruises from the United States. The cruise industry has been badly affected by the corona measures. Several cruise liners have gone bankrupt, and some cruise ships have been scrapped ahead of schedule.
Almost all berths on Curaçao are now occupied. The ships are waiting for better times in the harbor, at the Isla and in Caracasbaai.
