Vaccinated Arubans and Curacaoans without test to Bonaire

Local | By Correspondent May 27, 2021

KRALENDIJK - Travelers from Aruba and Curaçao who have been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks no longer need to take a PCR or antigen test when they travel to Bonaire. This was announced this morning by Island Governor Edison Rijna in a press conference. The new measures apply from 1 June. Rijna indicated that the governments of Curaçao and Aruba are currently discussing whether the test obligation can also be canceled for travelers from Bonaire.

A negative PCR test is still mandatory for all not (fully) vaccinated travelers from other countries. Bonaire expects to keep the air bubble only for the ABC islands for the time being, but after the summer this could also apply to other countries.
