VBC: Criticism Prime Minister unjustified

Local | By Correspondent July 4, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Business Association (VBC) finds the criticism of Prime Minister Pisas unjustified and unacceptable. Last Wednesday, Pisas got angry about business owners who did not comply with the curfew in the threat of storm. The VBC believes that the Prime Minister has unnecessarily endangered the population.

According to the association, the announcement of the early evening clock would not have happened correctly. Also, not all business owners were aware that the curfew was changed from 4 p.m. to 11 o'clock in the morning. To prevent this kind of misunderstanding in the future, the business community also wants to participate in the crisis team. The knowledge and experience of the business community can therefore be included in the decisions.
