WILLEMSTAD – On Friday, 28 November 2025, the Director of the Curaçao Business Association (VBC), Mireya Hooi-Troeman, paid a working visit to the Governor of Curaçao, His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort. She was accompanied by VBC Chair Aziza De Freita, Secretary Guiselle Coco-Libier and Board Member Effia Scuoto-Luis.
During the meeting, Hooi-Troeman and De Freita briefed the Governor on current developments within the Curaçao business community, sharing insights on economic trends, private-sector priorities and ongoing challenges faced by local enterprises.
The VBC delegation and Governor De Kort exchanged views on how strengthened dialogue and collaboration between government and the private sector can contribute to sustainable economic growth and an improved business climate for Curaçao.
The meeting underscored the importance of continued cooperation to support the island’s economic resilience and competitiveness.
