WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Business Association (VBC) is again making an urgent appeal to the Curaçao government to reach an agreement with the Netherlands.
This is necessary because of long-term support during the corona crisis. An agreement would also pave the way for economic reforms, which are badly needed according to business association.
Any other plan to get money on the local market is too expensive, says the VBC. The debts would increase to such an extent that Curaçao could no longer repay them.
