WILLEMSTAD - The wage rate and indexing of salaries for civil servants will not be introduced for the time being. The trade unions thought that the judge had ruled that, but according to the government, they did not read the verdict correctly.
Payment is only made if the financial situation of Curaçao permits. The judge only ordered the government to talk to the unions. That is on the agenda this week.
