WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao patients have to wait longer and longer for an appointment with their doctor. That is what the Association of Medical Specialists Curaçao says.
Because of the previously introduced production ceiling, doctors can accept a limited number of patients. This has resulted in long waiting lists. In addition, the retirement process for 65-year-old medics will start from 2023. The waiting lists will therefore only get longer, according to the association.
