Walroud: MFK should not pretend that there was no mismanagement from 2010 to 2012

WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament for PAR, Stephen Walroud is upset about statements made by MFK chairman Sithree van Heydoorn. Walroud believes that Van Heydoorn should not pretend that MFK did not pursue mismanagement from 2010 to 2012.

According to Walroud, the MFK has made a great effort to break with its dubious past 10 years. "Now pretend that the financial instruction from The Hague that followed was unjustified and that what was said by senator Recourt last week in the Dutch Senate was a lie. No, no, no, we are not going to falsify history, Sithree van Heydoorn! The financial instruction says enough," writes the parliamentarian.

In the relevant passages it is stated, among other things, that 'the first two years of the new country of Curaçao were concluded with extensive shortages on the regular service.'

The instruction also states that in May 2012 it was assumed a 140 million guilders deficit. 'This while the capital achieved a good starting position at the start of the new countries,' according to the instruction.

Walroud calls on Van Heydoorn to speak the truth: "No mismanagement from 2010-2012? Sithree Van Heydoorn speak the truth," said the Member of Parliament.
