WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 3594 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 328 of them were positive. This is equal to a positive rate of 9.31%. 228 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 434.
After more investigation, it became known that 3 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 6 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 4 of them are in the ICU. Unfortunately, 1 person has died in a nursing home.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 265.
