WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 2931 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus this week, 455 of them were positive. This is equal to a positivity rate of 15.5% and an average of 65 new cases per day. 405 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 546.
After more investigation, it became known that 1 case was recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 5 COVID-related patients are in the hospital.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 267.
