PHILIPSBURG, WILLEMSTAD - Air Antilles has been given approval to fly again. This means that the flights that were operated by Winair will also start again, the airline writes.
Air Antilles has a fleet of ATR aircraft. Winair leases the aircraft from partner Air Antilles for the flights between Sint Maarten and the ABC islands.
Due to a measure by the French aviation authority DGAC, Winair had to ground all aircraft. The authority found deficiencies with the maintenance documentation.
According to Air Antilles, these have now been satisfactorily resolved and flights can be resumed.
