THE HAGUE - Sharine Werleman's, a Curaçaoan living in Bloemendaal, the Netherlands went on a hunger strike. She did this at the Dutch government center De Binnenhof. She wants attention to racism and migrants in the Netherlands.
The Curaçaoan demanded and had a conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, although she was forced to wait all day.
When Rutte wanted to go home by car in the evening, he got out and talked to the 60-year-old Curaçaoan. She has now received his email address.
