WILLEMSTAD - A woman had to be taken to the emergency room on Saturday afternoon after she fell on the Christoffelberg while hiking.
She sustained several injuries during her fall. The victim had wounds to her head, knuckles and knees. The police and the Barber Fire Department had to enlist the help of the Coast Guard to get the woman off the Christoffelberg. She was transported to the airport by a Coast Guard helicopter.
There the ambulance was waiting for her for transport to the emergency room of the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) for medical care.
