WILLEMSTAD - The woman who had previously threatened and insulted Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath with death has been released from jail. She must appear in court later. The exact date has not been announced yet.
The 29-year-old woman had posted a photo of the prime minister on social media, saying that he and all his followers should be murdered. She also said she hated the Prime Minister. She thinks he is lying to the people.
According to the Public Prosecution Service, her post would have incited the public against the prime minister and that is punishable, just like a threat.
