Women's rights on agenda at IPKO

Local | By Correspondent August 24, 2021

KRALENDIJK - The first day of the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IPKO) on Bonaire went smoothly. Member of Parliament Giselle Mc William says that all parties were aligned on various issues, including human rights.

According to McWilliam, the Netherlands regularly talks about migrants, while other rights are being violated en masse among the population, especially women's rights. Help and support with this is also welcome, according to the Member of Parliament.

The various parliaments in the Kingdom will continue to meet until next Wednesday. The Caribbean Body for Reform and Development (COHO) theme is still on the agenda.
