WILLEMSTAD - A delegation from the People's Republic of China, led by the Director-General of Consular Affairs (of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Mr. Cui Amin, visited Curaçao.
The meeting was successful, with the emphasis on relations between the two countries. Various opportunities were discussed such as the use of Curaçao as an economic zone and the financial sector.
Common interests such as tourism and financial services were discussed. Director-General Cui also indicated that both countries can work much more closely with each other with the "people to people cooperation".
Curaçao is looking forward to further strengthening ties with the People's Republic of China and thus creating more opportunities for both countries to develop.
