WILLEMSTAD - Xavier Prens is the new Secretary General at the Ministry of Economic Development. As the highest official, he is responsible for policy preparation and the implementation of this at the ministry.
47-year-old Prens has been a minister plenipotentiary of Curaçao in Washington since 2013. Prens studied Public Administration at the University of Leiden. It is not known yet who is taking over his position in Washington.
