WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament for the party MAN Yves Schoop spoke yesterday with Justice Minister Quincy Girigorie about the recently started hunger strike by undocumented Venezuelans.

They have been detained in the alien barracks for more than half a year. Schoop, who is also a doctor, has asked for constant medical monitoring of the hunger strikers. He also argued with the minister that lawyers should not be hindered in their work for the Venezuelans.

Justice Minister Quincy Girigorie is in an advanced conversation with various humanitarian organizations to offer shelter to the eleven undocumented Venezuelans who have been in the barracks for months. That is what Girigorie told Yves Schoop MP.
