WILLEMSTAD - The Dutch naval vessel Zr.Ms. Holland intercepted 235 kilos of cocaine in the Caribbean Sea. It is the third time in a short period that the ship manages to stop a drug transport.

The NH90 helicopter discovered the drug boat during a patrol. With the help of the US Coast Guard and two FRISC interceptors, the Zr.Ms. Holland went after the boat. Two people from the Dominican Republic were on board the go-fast. Both have been detained by the US Coast Guard.
The suspects and the drugs have been transferred to a US Coast Guard vessel for prosecution in the United States. At the end of October, the naval vessel also managed to intercept two drug boats.
