WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1715 people that were tested for the COVID-19 virus, 112 of them were positive. 147 cases were taken out of isolation. The total number of active infections is now 1351.
According to the epidemiology department, there were 27 imported cases. After more investigation, it became known that 3 cases were recorded incorrectly. The necessary adjustments have been made.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) until this morning: 17 COVID-related patients are in the hospital, 9 of them are in the ICU.
The total COVID-related death since the beginning of the pandemic is 246.
