WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 407 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 17 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 4.1%. 107 active cases have recovered. This brings the number of active infections to 609.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 57 people are now in the hospital. 29 of them are in the intensive care unit. There are 4 people from Curaçao still in the Aruban hospital. They are all in the intensive care unit.
Unfortunately, 1 has died making the total now 108 deaths. This person died in the hospital.
