WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 832 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 177 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 21%. This brings the number of active infections to 4489. 37 active cases have recovered.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 126 people are now in the hospital. 37 of them are in the intensive care unit. 2 patients were transferred to Aruba.
Unfortunately, 4 more have died making the total now 52 deaths. 3 died in the hospital and 1 in a nursing home.
