WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 711 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 19 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 2.6%. 423 active cases have recovered. This brings the number of active infections to 700.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 60 people are now in the hospital. 29 of them are in the intensive care unit. There are 4 people from Curaçao still in the Aruban hospital. They are all in the intensive care unit.
Unfortunately, 2 have died making the total now 107 deaths. Both died in a nursing home.
