WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 1400 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, 255 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 18%. This brings the number of active infections to 4354. 87 active cases have recovered.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 117 people are now in the hospital. 46 of them are in the intensive care unit. 2 patients were transferred to Aruba.
Unfortunately, 4 more have died making the total now 48 deaths. All 4 died in the hospital.
