WILLEMSTAD - Of the 26 people who ended up in the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) due to a COVID-19 infection between July 22 and August 2, 23 were not vaccinated. This is apparent from an overview of the number of hospital admissions.
The following is known about the 3 vaccinated patients: 1 patient was fully vaccinated, 1 patient had only 1 shot and a third patient became infected within two weeks after the second shot. There are currently 17 Covid patients in the CMC, 4 of which are in intensive care.
