WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 587 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, only 46 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 8%. 764 active cases have recovered. This brings the number of active infections to 2516.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 95 people are now in the hospital. 35 of them are in the intensive care unit. There are 9 people from Curaçao still in the Aruban hospital in the intensive care unit.
Unfortunately, 1 has died making the total now 89 deaths. This person died in the hospital.
