WILLEMSTAD - The epidemiology department reports that out of 635 people who were tested today for the COVID-19 virus, only 34 of them resulted positive: a positivity rate of 5%. 115 active cases have recovered. This brings the number of active infections to 2268.
The situation at the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC): 89 people are now in the hospital. 31 of them are in the intensive care unit. There are 9 people from Curaçao still in the Aruban hospital in the intensive care unit.
Unfortunately,4 have died making the total now 94 deaths. 2 of them died in the hospital.
